Shirley Dodds has been an advocate for vulnerable adults, consultant and caregiver for over 25 years. She was born, raised, and educated in New Jersey. She earned her degree from William Paterson University. Shirley began her career working in a group home setting with adults with mental illness. In this setting she focused on providing support, advocacy and developing routines with clients to assist them in leading a healthy, productive and fulfilling lifestyle. She and her husband moved to Florida in 1996 where she found her true calling. After having the opportunity to work with seniors in various capacities it was clear this is exactly where she was meant to be. Shirley has been the Director of Social Services in both long and short term care settings for over two decades. This role allowed her to be involved and oversee multiple facets of her senior’s needs including advocacy, discharge planning, care coordination, and their overall support systems. Shirley’s extensive experience, knowledge of resources, and love for seniors makes her an exemplary care manager. Shirley, her husband, and two children have been blessed by family and friends and have created a loving, inclusionary, supportive home life where everyone is welcome. Treating others as you would like to be treated is a core value that has been passed down to her for generations.
Stephanie Horvath has worked in healthcare for over 15 years in several business capacities including Business Office Manager, Human Resources Director, Corporate A/R Specialist, and has provided intermittent regional support & training. She has specialized experience in Medicare and Medicaid billing, insurance claims, and budgeting finances. Stephanie is also a core trained Assisted Living Facility Administrator. She earned her Business Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University with a concentration in Leadership and a focus in Healthcare Administration and Business Law. Stephanie is a first generation Florida native with a true passion for seniors and senior care. Her mother’s side of the family hails from the great state of Pennsylvania while her father’s side of the family is from Hungary. She considers it a great honor to be a first generation American on her father’s side.
